What:

4-day long weekend retreat in a charming Porto hotel by the sea for 32 tpot and tpot-adjacent friends to vibe and chill and share their gifts.

Thursday 5th October 2023 (3pm) - Monday 9th October 2023 (11am)

Where:

A cozy house-hotel in the Foz part of Porto. It’s 5 minutes away from the beach and there’s a warm water pool on the roof.

Travel: 

You can fly directly to Porto, or take a train from Lisbon (3h). Once at the airport or train station you can take the city bus or Uber to the venue.

Accomodation:

1 main 5-bedroom house with a main living room and kitchen, sleeps 18. The rooms are spacious and nice and some of them have great balconies.

Connected to the house by a hallway, a second building with 3 suites, sleeps another 14. On the roof, a heated pool.

Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. Enjoy a cup of tea from your terrace or balcony. Extras include slippers, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Superior rooms include a spa bath or a sauna.

There will be a free parking garage for 4 cars.

The venue is 5 min. from the beach in the beautiful Foz part of Porto. 

Food:

Every effort will be made to provide healthy and filling food for everyone. Most food served will be vegetarian, with both meat and vegan options on the side. Please contact the team if you have food-related issues that need more careful care, as by default we won't be avoiding gluten or other allergens until we receive bookings with specific needs. Dietary requirements must be included as part of your booking.

Breakfast and lunch

Cold breakfast and lunch will be provided every day, buffet-style. Guests will be expected to participate in preparing their own breakfast from the ingredients available, and for constructing their own lunches.

We will also have kitchen fridges accessible anytime for "midnight snacks".

Guests will be expected to participate throughout the day in very light rubbish and clear up duties.

Dinner

Hot evening meals will be provided by the venue with help from attendees to setup/takedown plates, cutlery, tables and chairs etc. and loading the dishwasher at the end.

Activities:

The long weekend is a co-created space with very little in the way of scheduled activities. The initial vibe is one of togetherness, relaxation and conversation. This is a time to unwind in the sun, read books and meet your fellows. However participants will no doubt want to do much more than this together as the days go by and so you are invited to create and run you own activities throughout the week.

Payment: 

If you're able, please send the ticket fee by Monday, Aug 7. That's when I'm paying for the venue.

Refund Policy:

Once you buy a ticket you cannot get a refund. Tickets may be exchanged with another memeber of tpot up until the week before the event. BOTH THE SELLER AND BUYER must notify the organising team of the old name of the booking and the new name, plus any dietary requirements for the new ticketholder by email at least one week before the event.
